Alexander Barabanov: "It's even sweeter to win today"

- This victory was really tough.

- Yes, it was a lot harder than against Salavat, and we had to come from behind. However, the team showed its character, and it's even sweeter to win when you have to work so hard.

- Did your two goals save the day?

- No, I wouldn't say that, Evgeny Dadonov's goal was beautiful. My goals are down to my line partners.

- Your goal was a copy of Pavel Datsyuk's marker against Salavat.

- Maxim Chudinov gave me a great pass, I decided to dump the puck in on net, and it got past the goaltender.

- How is it playing with your new line teammates?

- Everything is going well, but we have only played two games. During the match, head coach Oleg Znarok kept on telling us to power forward, and that everything would be fine if we can score.

- Before the game, the fans greeted you with a flare show. Did it give you extra motivation?

- Yes, it was fantastic. None of us expected their surprise, a big thanks goes to the supporters!
