Facts of Sunday's drama-filled home triumph over Magnitogorsk

17 November 2025

SKA have now achieved 25 victories from 42 KHL matches against Metallurg Magnitogorsk. In the Eastern Conference, only Barys Astana (26), Traktor Chelyabinsk (26) and Amur Khabarovsk (30) have suffered more defeats to our club than Metallurg.

Our first goal marked the 700th which teams managed by Igor Larionov have scored in the KHL. 632 were netted across 220 games in charge of Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod, with the remaining 71 having been registered in 26 SKA matches.

Defenseman Trevor Murphy has picked up 200 (51+149) points in 307 matches as a part of the KHL regular season. As a consequence of this, he has indeed become the 21st defenseman in league history to gain 200 points in the history of the regular season.

In his 10th KHL match, fellow defenseman Yegor Zelenov scored his maiden league goal! Furthermore, it turned out to be the winner.

Away forward Vladimir Tkachyov is the third player to score both for and against SKA and Magnitogorsk in KHL games between the two organisations, following in the footsteps of fellow forwards Sergei Plotnikov and Maxim Karpov. Overall, Tkachyov now possesses 10 (3+7) points in matches against SKA.
