Press conference after SKA defeated Metallurg in seven-goal thriller

HC SKA head coach Igor Larionov:

"First of all, I want to congratulate all of our fans with this victory! I know just how long they had waited for this game. I would like to congratulate our guys with a good performance and two points. At this moment in time, we can't win matches without stress. We're constantly putting ourselves through the mill. However, this is what makes ice hockey a fantastic sport! It keeps everyone interested until the final second."

HC Metallurg Magnitogorsk head coach Andrei Razin:

"It's a disappointing defeat for us. We conceded the first goal because some of our players hadn't fully settled. The second, which turned the match on its head, was conceded because of a dreadful mistake when trying to enter the SKA zone. Nevertheless, we did fight until the end. Congratulations to SKA."
