Statistics of the narrow home setback to Torpedo

This marked the maiden occasion when SKA initially equalised in the concluding minute of the third period before subsequently conceding the game-winner in regulation time.

Across 19 KHL seasons, this was only the sixth time when SKA scored twice in one single match after pulling the goalkeeper in favour of the extra skater. However, SKA have only won one of the six games in question.

Vasily Glotov now boasts 101 (48+53) points across 177 competitive appearances for SKA. The forward has consequently become the 21st player to tally a minimum of 100 KHL points for our first team.

Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod's Alexei Isakov is the first KHL coach to win all first of his five league matches against SKA. The previous record belonged to Harijs Vitolins, who emerged victorious in his maiden four games when facing our club.
