Igor Larionov speaks after second win at home competition

HC SKA head coach Igor Larionov:

“It was a tough game against a strong, powerful opponent. Artemiy Pleshkov gave us a chance in the first period with his excellent play. We changed our approach a bit in the second stanza, consequently scoring good goals and winning the game. We’re happy that we gave our fans this win.”

Ivan Stefanishin playing…

“This served as a useful experience for Ivan. Furthermore, Andrei Pedan also displayed the qualities which such an experienced player needs to show.”

Two goals from Zakhar Bardakov…

“We didn’t speak a lot after the preceding game. After all, these are friendly matches. We want our guys to play the right way and display the correct type of ice hockey. This is what we said after the first period. Zakhar is working hard; we’re satisfied with his development.”
