Vadim Shipachyov: "We were a bit lucky in the end"

- Severstal showed that they play good hockey and deserve to be in the play-offs. It was hard for us today, but in the end we were a bit lucky and managed to win. The game was good and level overall.

- Do you feel more responsibility being captain?

- It's something normal, it just happened that some of our players are injured. I was pleased to be named captain, and I will continue to help the team win. I always feel a lot of responsibility playing in my hometown. I wanted to play well, and we showed a decent game today. Their goalkeeper Jakub Stepanek was great however, he stopped us from scoring.

- Do SKA always have certain line combinations for playing on the powerplay?

- Yes, we have two powerplay units.

- It's the team's sixth victory in a row this year. How are you managing to keep such a winning streak going?

- We're not going to guess what will happen next, we just go out with a huge amount of motivation and try to win every game.
