Sochi Winter Cup. Admiral - SKA - 0:8

In the second and concluding match of the Sochi Winter Cup, SKA breezed past Admiral Vladivostok with ease, cruising to an emphatic 8:0 triumph.

Evgeny Ketov and Vladislav Tsitsyura hit the jackpot during the first period, before Igor Ozhiganov, Anton Burdasov (twice) and Zakhar Bardakov all got on the scoresheet in the second. Admiral pulled goaltender Alexander Lazushin in favour of Nikita Serebryakov following the fifth goal but, in truth, it made next to no difference to the flow of the play.

Daniil Pylenkov and Andrei Kuzmenko rounded off proceedings in the third frame with further excellent goals.

Reliable goalkeeper Dmitry Nikolaev stopped all 19 Admiral shots he faced throughout the 60 minutes to pick up a deserved shutout.

On Sunday, SKA will compete against Sochi in another friendly game as the preparations for the 2021/2022 KHL Gagarin Cup playoffs continue.
