Bardakov, Pleshkov power SKA past Admiral!

28 August 2026

Largely thanks to a Zakhar Bardakov brace and an impressive 43-save shutout from Artemiy Pleshkov, SKA registered a routine 3:0 victory against Admiral Vladivostok in the second match of the Nikolai Puchkov Tournament.

The Vladivostok-based visitors unleashed a grand total of 84 shots compared to SKA’s 40, but they were made to pay for their profligacy.

Zakhar Bardakov broke the deadlock within the maiden 56 seconds of the second stanza, before Nikolai Chebykin doubled our advantage on the powerplay and the former subsequently tallied his second of the day.

Admiral huffed and puffed as they searched for a way back into the game, but Pleshkov refused to be beaten.

SKA and SKA-VMF will face each other in the concluding game of the competition on Sunday. Puck-drop is scheduled for 19:00 local time.
