Slovan - SKA. Match day

SKA will complete this European trip with a match against HC Slovan in Bratislava, Slovakia.

HC Slovan have generally been difficult opponents for SKA in the KHL, taking three out of ten games against each other. Nevertheless, Slovan, despite making the playoffs last term, haven't been in great form this campaign so far, winning only five matches. Such a poor run of results has left the Slovakians in 13th place of the Western Conference, and their recent losses have included a 1:2 overtime setback to CSKA on Tuesday. American forward Jeff Taffe is their top scorer with nine points (3+6).

Our players failed to keep their five match winning streak going in Croatia, losing to Medvescak 4:5 OT in a dramatic encounter. However, the point picked up in that game has allowed SKA to keep hold of second place of the conference, trailing CSKA by only four points.

In that match with Medvescak, Evgeny Dadonov netted a stunning hat trick, while Alexander Barabanov scored his tenth goal of the season.

The Slovan - SKA match will begin at 20.00 Moscow time in Bratislava, Slovakia. Life78 and KHL TV HD will broadcast live, and you can follow events on our official Twitter account.
