SKA and Lada have made a trade

SKA Hockey Club and HC Lada Togliatti have agreed on a trade. Ilya Ezhov will now return to SKA, with fellow goaltender Yevgeni Ivannikov moving to Lada.
Using the opportunity to sign players before the deadline, SKA looked to strengthen certain positions, including the goalkeepers. The club considers this trade an effective option at the moment, concerning how the team will perform in the play-offs. We also note that the discussions with HC Lada were very constructive.
Yevgeni Ivannikov played 16 matches for SKA this season, conceding an average of 2.36 goals per game and with a save percentage of 90.9%.
For Lada Ilya Ezhov appeared on the ice 33 times, conceding an average of 2.35 goals and has a save percentage of 92.9%.
Commenting on recent comments from the hockey circle, SKA regards the comparison to playing chess as a compliment. SKA Hockey Club is happy to listen to new initiatives, but not when they come from agents. SKA has always acted firmly under the rules in place, and will continue to work in a legal manner.
