Roman Rotenberg: "A lengthy contract will be signed with Vyacheslav Voynov"

SKA Ice Hockey Club and HC Traktor Chelyabinsk have reached an agreement considering the transfer of defenceman Vyacheslav Voynov. SKA vice-president Roman Rotenberg commented on recent events:
- Today, talks were held between Chelyabinsk Region's head, HC Traktor president Boris Dubrovsky and HC SKA president Gennady Timchenko on Vyacheslav Voynov's transfer. In the coming days, Vyacheslav will sign a contract with SKA that will last up to the Olympic Games in South Korea.
It's very important for us that Vyacheslav will start playing with the team and gain form. This long contract has been agreed upon considering what this hockey player has achieved in his career already, which includes winning the NHL Stanley Cup twice. He will also play at the 2018 Olympic Games. We want him to play in Russia for a long time so that he will have a positive effect on the club and Russian national team.
The transfer card hasn't yet arrived, but negotiations are ongoing between the NHL, Los Angeles, the IIHF president Rene Fasel and the NHL vice-president Bill Daly. We are speaking every day. It's planned, that Vyacheslav will play for SKA after the Euro Hockey Tour.
