Vladislav Kamenev: "Everyone fought hard for the victory"

HC SKA forward Vladislav Kamenev:
- It was a good playoff game, a tough match for both teams. My goal? I pounced on the puck to put it past the goalkeeper, Evgeny Timkin had made a great charge to the net. He actually showed nice moves for that goal!
- Did you immediately see that the puck went in?
- No, to be honest. I saw that a lot of the net was open for me when the puck dropped at my stick. My shot was so strong that we didn't see it go in! The referee did signal for a goal straight away, though.
- How did you mark your goal when returning to the dressing room?
- I was given the special hat which is awarded to the best player of every match. Everyone fought hard for the victory today.
- How tough has it been for you in these last two games? You hadn't been used in matches for a month.
- I felt the effects of my long stint on the sidelines in the previous match, I didn't understand what was happening for five minutes. Nevertheless, it only took a few shifts to get back into the swing of things.
- After you took your penalty, were you worried that you were going to be benched?
- No, I was only worried that we were going to concede. Thankfully, the guys on the penalty kill did a great job. When I'm on the ice, I am doing everything that I can in order to help the team win.
- What are the coaches demanding from you personally?
- I think that it's already clear that my line is playing against Dynamo Moscow's top two lines. However, instead of just keeping them at bay, we also want to score!
