HC SKA head coach Sergei Zubov:

- It was a tough match, and in these games you need to play the full 60 minutes. We played the hockey that we are capable of only in the first period. When you poorly play the following 40 minutes, it's difficult to win.

- Why was Mikko Koskinen not included in the line-up?

- Igor Shestyorkin played great against Vityaz, and we decided to give him a chance.

- What happened to SKA after the first period?

- The opponents played harder, pressurized us, and we couldn't cope with that.

- How would you rate Alexander Dergachyov's and Yegor Rykov's performances?

- They were really good.

- What did you notice in their game at the World Junior Championship?

- They went above their own level. Silver is honorable.

HC CSKA Moscow head coach Dmitry Kvartalnov:

- The first twenty minutes were poor, but the opponents played great. Afterwards, the guys turned it around and there was a different team on the ice. We created a lot of moments, played great and beat a strong opponent.

- Why did Viktor Fasth play?

- We had a plan for these three home games, and he was supposed to play against SKA.

- Did you purposely chose to mix the first line up?

- This happened during the game.

- Why did Sergei Andropov lose his discipline?

- All players know the rules, but they make mistakes too.

- Are you satisfied with Mikhail Naumenkov's and Nikita Zaitsev's defensive performance?

- Other players are injured. They have got a chance to play a lot of minutes, and we are satisfied with them.

- What interesting things did you see at the World Junior Championship?

- The guys did well taking a medal. It's hard for me to give a rating, they had a different coach.
