HC SKA head coach Vyacheslav Bykov:

- I congratulate CSKA with their deserved victory. We began the game stiffly, and maybe the guys got fired up too much. We will look over things and prepare for the next game.

- What is wrong with Dmitry Kalinin and Vadim Shipachyov?

- The doctors will sort out the situation.

- Ilya Kovalchuk's play against Alexander Radulov wasn't overly sporting. What can you say about this?

- I won't say anything, but it doesn't make Ilya look good.

- Did you manage to get your game together after getting away only four shots on target in the first period?

- We had more shots on target afterwards.

- Why did you play so poorly on the powerplay?

- The opponents played well, although we tried hard with tricky plays and shots. Today it didn't work our unfortunately.

- Were you ready for such pressing?

- Certainly. We studied CSKA hard, we know how they play. They didn't spring any surprises. Again, we burnt up today and began nervously.

- Will you be able to change it all around in time for Saturday?

- Yes, of course.

HC CSKA Moscow head coach Dmitry Kvartalnov:

- It was an even game - we won because we scored some un-pretty goals. The guys tried, and were patient. It's good to win the first game, but a long road is ahead of us.

- Comment on the situation with Nikolay Prokhorkin and why he is not in the squad.

- Why are you interested about him? A lot of our players aren't playing. I don't know where you have acquired that information from, but yes it's true he is not with the team.

- How is Alexander Radulov?

- I haven't checked yet.

- Are you satisfied with Roman Lyubimov's performance in the first line? And when can we expect to see Stephane Da Costa and Andreas Enqgvist?

- His line scored two goals. Roman was nervous during the opening stages, and could have scored himself when Alexander Radulov eventually found the net. I hope that we will see Stephane Da Costa and Andreas Engqvist in the next game.
