HC SKA head coach Sergei Zubov:

- With fresh emotions, it's hard to make a detailed analysis. We tried to play beautiful ice hockey, and we got it a bit wrong in this aspect. We needed to create more chances. There were opportunities to get back into it on the powerplay. We will make conclusions from this game.

HC CSKA Moscow head coach Dmitry Kvartalnov:

- I think that it was an even game. We got lucky with our goals. There's nothing more to say, this was the first game, and on Thursday it will be another important and tough match.

- Did you specifically assign Sergei Andronov to mark Vadim Shipachyov?

- No, it simply worked out that way.

- Alexander Radulov took two penalties. Has he got problems with his discipline?

- No, his discipline is fine. His second foul was called fairly, and for the first, the referees thought that he made an illegal play. We performed well on the penalty kill.
