Traktor - SKA. Press-conference

HC SKA head coach Andrei Nazarov:

- Firstly I want to congratulate my colleague with their win. We tried our best, but lost our movement. We will look into this, and try to solve the problem. We kept going though, and ended up making a mistake that led up to Traktor's winning goal. I enjoyed the game, and I think the fans did too. There were a lot of chances.

- Your forwards didn't play well today. Why was that the case?

- I tried to make it clear to the guys that you need to shoot. All of the time they were giving extra, unneeded passes. We'll look into it. We did have our opportunities, but their goaltender played well. We lost confidence because of this.

- The team also took too many penalties.

- Our heads stopped working, and started committing fouls.

HC Traktor Chelyabinsk head coach Andrey Nikolishin:

- We have been on the road for a long time before returning, and it wasn't easy. The process of acclimatization took its toll on us, and in the first period we were asleep. It's good that Vasily Demchenko saved two breakaways and gave us a chance, in doing so he also gave the other players more energy. We knew that last season's champions had come to town, and they have quality players. We took advantage of our chance in the third period, and scored the winner in overtime. I congratulate everyone with the victory.
