Winning streak comes to abrupt end

SKA's winning streak came to an abrupt end in Chelyabinsk, as our team suffered a 2:4 setback to Traktor.
Pavel Dedunov had initially given us the advantage on the powerplay in the 14th minute.
Bossing the play, SKA created enough chances to really pull away from Traktor, but they were punished for their profligacy in front of goal in the second stanza.
Grigory Dronov equalised shorthanded, before Vladimir Tkachyov bagged the visitors' second.
Dmitry Yudin quickly got SKA back on level terms before the frame was out. However, Traktor tallied what turned out to be the decisive go-ahead goal in the third minute of the third period, with Ostap Safin squeezing the puck under Yegor Zavragin.
Buddy Robinson subsequently made sure of the points for Traktor with an empty-netter in the closing stages.
SKA will now prepare to face Avtomobilist in Yekaterinburg on Thursday. Puck-drop is scheduled for 17:00 Moscow time.
