HC SKA head coach Vyacheslav Bykov:

- We had a very good game, scored on our chances, and played in a disciplined manner. We knew that Slovan are a very good team at home, and as a result we prepared seriously for this game. A lot worked out for us.

HC Slovan Bratislava head coach Petri Matikainen:

- SKA were great today, you guys played really nice hockey. SKA skated well, passed well, and on the other hand I am disappointed with our game. This was a horrible night for us. We had a bad start, and couldn't get it going all night long. We were slow from the legs and the head, made terrible mistakes on one on ones, and I am sorry that it was such a horrible night. We prepared for this match, we knew exactly what was coming, but we weren't mentally ready. I don't know why.

- What's wrong with Martin Stajnoch?

- Hopefully nothing serious. We are missing so many defencemen already, and we have a lot of young guys playing. I hope that he isn't seriously injured, but it doesn't look good. We need defencemen.
