HC Vityaz Podolsk head coach Valery Belov:

- I congratulate SKA with their deserved victory. To be honest, we didn't start very well, and we could have conceded more goals in the first period. After that, it was difficult to get back into the game, despite playing well in the second and third periods. On the powerplay, we had an opportunity to gain some points today, but we didn't even register a shot on goal. We didn't have many shots during the entire match. If you don't shoot, you won't score, so this is why we lost.

HC SKA head coach Ilya Vorobyov:

- We knew that Vityaz have played well in recent matches. Today, we defeated a strong, good defence. Three goals were enough. The first period was excellent, but we could have scored more in the second.
