SKA - Vityaz. Press-conference of game one

HC Vityaz Podolsk head coach Valery Belov:

- It was Vityaz's first ever KHL playoff game. Overall, for our first match, I think that we played well. However, I didn't enjoy the third period, SKA's quick goal ruined the game for us. We had chances, but we didn't score on them. We also took too many penalties, you can't do that against such an opponent. We will prepare for the next game.

- How have you given the players belief for playing SKA?

- We need to take advantage of our goalscoring opportunities. If we would have done that today, maybe the game would have turned out differently.

HC SKA head coach Oleg Znarok:

- I congratulate my team with the win. We'll get ready for the next match.

- Why did only six defensemen play? Dmitry Yudin and Roman Rukavishnikov are healthy...

- I'm not going to explain why. This is the playoffs.
