HC CSKA Moscow head coach Igor Nikitin:

- We knew that this game would be difficult. The small details decided the outcome against a team like SKA. Overall, the guys tried hard and did a good job. We're playing with a strong team, so we need to be fully concentrated. We'll prepare for the next match.

- Did you expect SKA to play more defensive ice hockey?

- The result was important both for us and SKA. I wouldn't say that it was a defensive match, the teams simply played with discipline. It's hard to break down a solid defence.

- How is Ivan Telegin? He only played in one shift during the third period.

- I don't know. He said that he can't play at 100% yet, we decided not to take a risk.

- Pavel Karnaukhov got into a lot of fights. Was he given this task?

- He wasn't only prepared to fight. It's a part of ice hockey.

HC SKA head coach Oleg Znarok:

- There are no easy games in the playoffs, especially against CSKA Moscow. We had more patience. This is the playoffs, the fight is ahead of us.
