SKA - Traktor. Press-conference

HC SKA head coach Roman Rotenberg:

- The guys did a great job, they followed the game plan and played for the team. We knew that the opponents would do everything possible in order to win, so we improved our discipline and barely made any mistakes. However, we must stop taking so many needless penalties. We're happy with the fact that we scored good goals, our attacking play was better in this match. At the same time, though, we understand that we must start taking advantage of more of our scoring opportunities. We will continue working hard.

HC Traktor Chelyabinsk head coach Anvar Gatiyatulin:

- We gave SKA far too much space in the first period. Overall, we were lacking confidence and aggression. When we did manage to create clear chances to score, we weren't ruthless. I don't have any issues with the guys' attitude, but our performance level must improve. We must believe in ourselves and try to win all of our remaining matches. Why has this season been so poor for us? We lost all of our leading players and dropped plenty of points which we should have registered.

HC SKA defenseman Nikita Kamalov:

- All of our games at the moment are being used as preparation for the knockouts. Yes, we did take a lot of penalties, but overall it was a solid performance from our point of view.

HC SKA forward Svyatoslav Grebenshchikov:

- It was an interesting, hard-fought match. We scored good goals, but too many penalties were taken. We're continuing to prepare for the playoffs which will shortly begin.
