SKA - Traktor. Press-conference

HC Traktor Chelyabinsk head coach Anvar Gatiyatulin:

- Knowing that we were playing with the KHL's leading team, we prepared well for this match, managing to play tight defence in the first period. However, poor penalties resulted in SKA scoring two powerplay goals. After that, we began to make more mistakes. Nevertheless, when the score was 0:5, we didn't give up and managed to score three goals. I would like to thanks our fans, they were heard loud and clear.

- What did you say to the players in your timeout?

- I asked them to go back to our own style of ice hockey. Afterwards, they began to keep possession of the puck better. Yes, SKA lowered their tempo, but we began to play our best ice hockey.

- Traktor have been one of the season's surprises. What's the reasoning behind your success?

- We have a great group of guys. The team plays committed ice hockey and solid defence, while taking advantage of goalscoring advantages.

HC SKA head coach Oleg Znarok:

- In the third period, we took our foot off the gas and made mistakes in defence. Nevertheless, I congratulate everyone with the victory.

- Nikolai Prokhorkin scored two goals. Rate his performance.

- You have just done that yourself.

- What are Arkhip Nekolenko's prospects in the team?

- Today, he even managed to create a chance. However, he should have crashed the net harder. He did well with his ice time today, time will tell what prospects await him.
