HC Severstal Cherepovets head coach Andrei Razin:

- I think that our guys played well. We had chances when the score was 0:1, but instead of equalising, we conceded a second. There were also a couple of opportunities when we were 1:2 down. I think that the result is the right one, and if we look at how much Anton Burdasov celebrated SKA's fourth goal, we can tell that they were pumped up for this match. We could have taken points today. Dedicated Severstal fans can be happy, they saw products of our academy on the ice.

HC SKA head coach Valeri Bragin:

- We played against a young team. They fought hard and had organisation in their play, but we controlled the rhythm of the game. In such matches, you need to quickly score three or four goals, but we missed lots of chances. Yes, we conceded an avoidable goal at the start of the third period, but we subsequently registered two more markers to claim the victory.

- Were you nervous in the third period?

- No, we continued to play well after we conceded. The opponents had one good chance, whereas we had several big opportunities. We needed to score more goals to win in a calmer fashion.
