SKA - Severstal. Press-conference

HC Severstal Cherepovets head coach Alexander Gulyavtsev:

- We were prepared for this match, but the first period was poor. In the second, we had enough chances to score, however you have to score goals if you want to win. Some of our leading players didn't do enough, and because of this, we lost our balance. Nevertheless, the guys tried until the end, and we will now get ready for the next match.

- A lot of your players were injured for this game. Will there be changes to the line-up?

- Their injuries aren't very serious.

HC SKA interim head coach Pyotr Vorobyov:

- I congratulate everyone with this victory. After losing to CSKA, we had to improve, and we managed to do so. Unfortunately, the first period was awful, and we made life difficult by gifting Severstal a five on three. Fortunately, the guys did a great job on the penalty kill. Later on, we scored two goals, but while attacking too much in the second stanza, Severstal had a lot of chances on the counterattack. In my opinion, this is not acceptable. We played open ice hockey when we were three goals up, and we should fix this component. Nevertheless, we are very happy with the win.

- Speak about the forming of the fourth line.

- They conceded the first goal against CSKA. For this game, we decided not to change the line-up, even if Steve Moses was ready to play. We gave the players in the fourth line a chance to make up for their mistakes. They played well in defence, maybe better than anyone else, but need to create more in attack.

- Will there be squad rotation?

- Dinar Khafizullin and Steve Moses have recovered, and Evgeny Ketov's ban has ended. We need to use such players.

- How is it being a head coach of a top club?

- I'm getting used to it.

- What happened with Dmitry Yudin?

- Nothing is clear yet, the doctors are working with him. Unfortunately, even they can't give a diagnosis yet.
