HC Severstal Cherepovets interim head coach Dmitry Yushkevich:

- I congratulate SKA with their win, they deserve it. You cannot take 20 minutes penalty time against a team like SKA. Five of the six goals were conceded on the penalty kill. The team is in a difficult situation at the moment, we have a lot of injured players. We didn't have an optimal squad today, and because of this we made many mistakes.

- Why were you sent off after the first period?

- I will not comment on this.

- Why did you take so many penalties?

- The opponents played quick, we made fouls when not keeping up with them. We had a tough previous game with Jokerit, we gave a lot. The state of the team wasn't great today.

HC SKA head coach Sergei Zubov:

- We created a lot of goalscoring chances today on the powerplay, this made a difference to the scoreline. Overall I note the good tempo of the game. Severstal were worthy opponents, especially at the start of the game. This is a working victory, the guys tried hard and deserve the win. We're satisfied.

- Are you more pleased with the score, or with the fact that the team played the whole 60 minutes?

- As I have already said, this is a working victory. Everyone played for the team. It doesn't matter what the score is, the main thing is that we have the three points.

- Do you have any information on Vadim Shipachyov's injury?

- We are waiting for a phone call, we will know soon.

- How would you sum up Alexander Kadeikin's performance? He played in two lines today.

- No, he didn't play in two lines. Changes were made during the game. Ilya Kovalchuk and Evgeny Dadonov played in two lines during the third period.

- Will Pavel Buchnevich's first SKA goals give him confidence moving forward?

- We hope so. Since moving to SKA, he has been trying to score. He is very happy, and we are too. Hopefully this will continue.
