HC Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk head coach Vladimir Krikunov:

- It was an interesting game, as a coach I enjoyed it. There were moments when we could have scored, and could have conceded. Everyone tried hard and played. Unfortunately, our late penalty didn't allow us to take the game at least into penalty shots.

HC SKA head coach Sergei Zubov:

- I agree that the match was interesting, especially during the first two periods. In the third, both teams began to play more cautiously. Today Mikko played brilliantly, and he kept us in the game. I am happy for the guys, they were patient and we have had a tough schedule. Tomorrow we will have a rest, and then prepare for the next game.

- The team seems to be lacking something in the third period of games. Do you need to increase something in the final stanza?

- No, everything is working so far. We got lucky with the late penalty today, and scored a quick goal. We're happy with the win.

- Why can't the players play well during the final period?

- You can shoot ten times and not score, and then only once and hit the net. It's luck.

- Does Steve Moses not have psychological problems? He has arrived from the Nashville Predators, where he couldn't make it into the first team.
