SKA - Neftekhimik. Press-conference

HC Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk Oleg Leontyev:

- It was an interesting match. Even though there weren't many goals, it was an entertaining game. Our guys did a good job to kill the penalties in the first period. In my opinion, the key moment was our powerplay in the second stanza, when we conceded after a counter-attack. We are not taking advantage of our scoring opportunities. When we start scoring, we'll start winning. At the moment, this is not the case.

- In your last three matches, your players have only scored three goals.

- We are working very hard during our training sessions with regard to this component. Goals and victories will come. We had a lot of chances today, but we're lacking quality and unpredictable decisions.

HC SKA head coach Valeri Bragin:

- It was a tough match. Neftekhimik have a fast, young team, so this is why we competed with patience in order to win. The main thing is that we won.

- Defenseman Mat Robinson made his SKA debut today.

- He has arrived in good shape. However, he is lacking game time, so it will take him a few matches to settle. Mat is capable of playing in all positions, including on both the powerplay and the penalty kill.
