HC Metallurg Magnitogorsk head coach Ilya Vorobyov:

- I congratulate SKA with their win. They played hard.

- SKA’s first line took eleven points in the previous game. What were your tactics against them?

- We didn’t want them to score again.

- Did you ask your father for advice before this game?

- Pyotr Vorobyov works with SKA, so I haven’t got the right to ask him questions.

- Would you like to play SKA in September when Pyotr Vorobyov will head Saint Petersburg?

- That once happened when Lokomotiv played Metallurg. Actually, it’s a difficult situation, as I always support him too.

HC SKA head coach Oleg Znarok:

- I wouldn’t say that we were that great. However, I am satisfied that we kept going until the end, and we showed our character. It was difficult to play after winning 7:1 against Salavat Yulaev Ufa.

- Is this tough victory more important than the win against Salavat?

- Yes.

- The team took a lot of penalties, and wasn't successful on the powerplay.

- Not all of the penalties were fair. On the powerplay, we missed our chances by taking too many passes.
