HC Metallurg Magnitogorsk head coach Ilya Vorobyov:

- I congratulate SKA with the victory. I don't have any questions for my players, they tried, but at the moment we don't have points.

- Sergey Mozyakin set a new record today. Was this important for him to do this today?

- We're happy for Sergey, but it was important for us to win today. We couldn't do it.

- Pyotr Vorobyov works in SKA's system. Did he give you any advice for this game?

- Given that he works for SKA, no.

- What is going wrong with Metallurg recently?

- We had a great November, but we don't have a big squad. The guys are trying, but they are a bit tired. Today we scored three, but in the past five games we only netted five. That's not enough for us, although we are creating chances. Against Spartak we three odd man rushes in the first period and usually we have enough quality to score on them. However, at the moment our tiredness and concentration lapses are letting us down. I am confident that we will sort this out and everything will be fine. We're happy that we'll have a break now, the guys can cure their injuries, and prepare for the next stage of the championship.

HC SKA head coach Sergei Zubov:

- It was a tense, interesting match, and such games are great for the KHL's image. Both teams gave everything. In some aspects, we were a bit more lucky. We look at this match as a good finish to a home series.

- Why are Igor Shestyorkin and Mikko Koskinen playing recently instead of Ilya Ezhov?

- Igor played well in the matches when we gave him a chance. Today the opponents were stronger, and we wanted to see how he would perform. He coped with his task today.

- Why have the past two matches been so tense and dramatic?

- The whole team should strive for such matches, so that every one was like this.

- Ilya Kovalchuk was criticized at the start of the season, but now he is doing really well. Has something changed?

- He tries hard not only in matches, but also in training. There are no secrets - he is the leader of the team. We have confidence now, and as a result everything is going like this.
