SKA - Lokomotiv. Press-conference

HC Lokomotiv Yaroslavl head coach Andrei Skabelka:

- I have to say that SKA made a great start with good skating. However, the same can't be said about us. Our discipline let us down today, this is the second match in a row when we have taken sloppy penalties for too many men on the ice. We allowed SKA to feel comfortable in our zone and score. After that, SKA played excellently for the next two periods. We struggled to move out of the zone under pressure. Nevertheless, on the other hand, the guys wanted to win and the third stanza was a lot better. I congratulate SKA with their victory, while we will fix our mistakes and move on.

HC SKA head coach Valery Bragin:

- It was a more complete performance from us today. When the score was 3:1 in our favour, we began to move away from the correct manner of playing, but Lokomotiv were better both in the final 10 minutes and the opening five minutes. For two and a half periods, we played well with good movement. We will work on seeing out matches calmly when ahead by two goals. Nevertheless, I am satisfied with how we competed against a strong opponent, I'm happy for the guys.
