HC Lokomotiv Yaroslavl head coach Dmitry Kvartalnov:

- Today, I will speak a bit more. We won, but Saint Petersburg started well and we only played well in the second period. During the closing moments, our goalkeeper Alexander Sudnitsin kept us in the game. We are really grateful for his performance. Our defence did well too.

- Why did Grigory Denisenko take Brandon Kozun's place?

- We made that decision.

- Our powerplay didn't work out for us today. Probably, that was the key. We took a lot of penalties in the second period and were shorthanded for a long time. We're preparing for the next match.

- Did you want to register seven defensemen for this game? Or are you lacking forwards?

- This is the second consecutive match, so we didn't think that we could keep the opponents at bay with only six defensemen. Any penalty, like today when we had the far away bench in the second period, takes its toll.
