HC Lada Tolyatti head coach Artis Abols:

- SKA are a team on a different level. Before the game, we knew that we would have to defend a lot, and we should have been more patient. We should never have given such cheap goals away. Ilya Ezhov did all he could, but only one of our lines could create chances. We deserved to lose.

HC SKA head coach Oleg Znarok:

- We didn't play that well, and our powerplay let us down. We will look forward to the next game.
