SKA - Kunlun Red Star. Press-conference

HC Kunlun Red Star Beijing head coach Vladimir Yurzinov:

- Like in the previous few matches, we tried our best throughout the sixty minutes. We played against a good team, but it's a shame that we didn't come close to the win. Unfortunately, recently, we have only been playing with three lines. If you want to beat the best teams, we need more high level forwards who can score goals. Nevertheless, the team tried today and fought until the end. SKA were stronger.

- Damien Fleury, who doesn't have a great plus/minus rating, was in the first line.

- We only have nine forwards, so any line decision can spring a surprise for you! I once again emphasise that we are only just building this team. When we had only six, twelve or fifteen players, we still trained. We don't have that many players. Martin Bakos is out, and Eetu Poysti is injured until the end of season.

- How tough is it being the coach of a new club?

- We carefully chose the players we wanted, however because of our budget, maybe we missed out on some others. The main thing is not to make big mistakes and that we have constructed the bones of the team. Today, we had three Chinese players, while we had four against Severstal. They are slowly progressing. We will try to improve in the next match.

HC SKA head coach Oleg Znarok:

- At times, we didn't play that well, the players swayed from the game plan. It's good that we kept a shutout. After having problems in defence during the past few games, this means that we can actually do a good job at the back.

- Igor Shestyorkin was the starting goaltender again today. When will we see Mikko Koskinen?

- Mikko will play in the next game.

- When will Pavel Datsyuk play?

- Maybe in a week's/half a week's time.
