HC Jokerit head coach Erkka Westerlund:

- I congratulate SKA with the victory. It was a very good match today, and I am satisfied with our game. I thank my players for their efforts on the ice. I think that we were better in the first period, and then in the second and third SKA were stronger. They decided the match in the penalty shootout.

- Do you have any preferences when it comes to choosing opponents for the playoffs?

- We don't have the opportunity to choose who we play against. To succeed in the playoffs, you have to beat any team.

HC SKA head coach Vyacheslav Bykov:

- The only bad thing from this game is that we were poor on special teams. Overall both teams tried to play with discipline. At the beginning of the second period the opponents pressed us, and our mood wasn't as it should have been. Both teams deserved points today. Our guys' quality was better today in the shootout.

- Did you not want to give Ilya Ezhov a chance in the shootout?

- Yes, Ilya even went to warm up. However Mikko came over and said that he was ready. We went with those words.
