SKA - Dynamo Moscow. Press-conference of Game One

HC Dynamo Moscow head coach Harijs Vītoliņš:

- I congratulate Saint Petersburg with the victory. It was a tense game, even if there weren't that many goals. No one wanted to lose. If we lost though, it means that we weren't patient enough and made more mistakes. We will prepare for the next game.

- Did SKA surprise you today in comparison to the regular season?

- I don't want to talk about this now. We got ready for this match, and yes they played different in a more tight style. We saw that in their series with Torpedo. Today we made mistakes which led up to them scoring, although the desire and commitment was there.

- It was unexpected to see Konstantin Volkov in the first line.

- He has been playing in this line for a few months. There's nothing surprising at all.

- Who will be able to come back from injury soon?

- I can't say. Tomorrow is a new day, and we will see then.

- Alexander Yeryomenko isn't officially injured, but he isn't playing. How would you rate Alexander Lazushin's performance?

- He was great, he isn't to blame for any of the goals.

HC SKA head coach Vyacheslav Bykov:

- It wasn't easy during the opening minutes. We gradually tried to even our game out however. Harijs has already explained everything.

- Did you look back at the previous two series against Dynamo?

- No, I am living for the here and now. What's the point in looking back in time? I don't see any.
