SKA - Dynamo Moscow. Press-conference

HC Dynamo Moscow head coach Vladimir Krikunov:
- We weren't ourselves today. Despite scoring one goal, our first line didn't play very well. On one hand, the guys tried, but unfortunately we put a young player in the fourth line which conceded two goals. That probably had a large bearing on the result. It's impossible to beat a team like SKA with one goal.
- Why couldn't Dynamo build on equalising?
- Today, we didn't look great physically, and that's a reason why we couldn't fight for a positive result. The young players committed mistakes.
- What do you think of Yegor Zaitsev's 5+20 penalty?
- He was hit three times before he was sent off. A few minutes ago we spoke, and he said that he didn't want to spear the opponent. I don't mind fighting, but those penalties are not our style.
- Were the players in the first line not ready for the opponents to close them down so much?
- Opposing teams always close them down. Just like the entire team, their movement wasn't great, and they generally play a lot better.
HC SKA head coach Ilya Vorobyov:
- First of all, thank you to the supporters for coming. We prepared for a tight, compact game. This is a hard fought victory.
- How did SKA improve after the previous KHL match?
- It was a team game and we were a united group.
