HC Dinamo Minsk head coach Gordie Dwyer:

- It’s a big win for us. I thought that we played a very disciplined, structured game today. We had an excellent start, which led to some confidence. As a group, we played an excellent game. We found a way to elevate our game against the league’s best team. The whole team was effective, this win is great for our confidence.

HC SKA head coach Oleg Znarok:

- I thank Dinamo Minsk for this game and congratulate them. Probably, we didn’t recover after the Channel One Cup and Russian Olympic team tournament. Only one player didn't go to the national team. I think that this was the reason behind this performance, but we should have played bettr in this situation. Now, we have a bit of time before a tough road trip.

- SKA will soon celebrate the club’s 71st anniversary. What wishes do you have for the team?

- I wish the club all success for the future. We have young players growing up, those with us right now (winners of the Federal tournament for players under 16 were in the hall - ska.ru). In my time, we weren't given watches for victories, they came later. The guys are our future.
