SKA - Dinamo Minsk. Press-conference

HC Dinamo Minsk head coach Craig Woodcroft:

- Knowing that we were going to play one of the league's heavyweights, we knew what to expect. Unfortunately, we didn't execute our game plan and made a few mistakes. We showed that you can't make mistakes against a team like this. They capitalised as we gift wrapped them four goals in the first period. Against a team like this, you're in trouble. We learned a lesson tonight, we got humbled. We will use this game as a learning experience and after making adjustments, we will be better next time. That's all we can do.

- This is a question to both coaches. Does the score reflect the difference in class between these two teams?

C.W. - I don't think so.

O.Z. - I think that it does.

HC SKA head coach Oleg Znarok:

- We played well in the first period. Finally, we managed to score some goals on the powerplay. Nevertheless, we can't be fully happy, we have a lot of work ahead of us.

- Igor Shestyorkin could have set a new Russian record. Has that disappointed you?

- As I have said before, I don't follow records. The main thing is that he played well in net.

- When will we see Patrik Hersley? Yegor Rykov picked up a nasty injury.

- Yegor's fine, there's no injury. I see Patrik everyday, do you think that I don't go to training? He hasn't trained for around a week, we are building him up physically. Soon you will see him. I think that we will take him on the next road trip.

- Dinamo Minsk are doing well this year. Did you see their potential today, or does the score speak for itself?

- Minsk are a good, balanced team. They did well on the powerplay, it was tough for us during those five minutes. Their progress is obvious, it's difficult to play against them. We prepared well for this game.
