SKA - Dynamo Moscow. Game three

SKA - Dynamo Moscow. Game three

11 March 2016

The third game of this 2015/2016 KHL Gagarin Cup playoffs second round series against HC Dynamo Moscow will take place today in Saint Petersburg.

Before the start of the series, everyone was expecting a tight battle, and that's exactly how it's turning out. The first two matches were held in Moscow, and SKA made the better start. In game one our team showed their class to score three powerplay goals in a 3:2 win, and goaltender Mikko Koskinen was impressive taking 28 saves. Dynamo knew that they had to respond in the second match, and unfortunately they did just that. Our players came back from 0:2 and 1:3 down to take the match into overtime, however eventually it was a Dynamo powerplay marker that sealed their victory.

Nevertheless, despite the series being level at 1:1, SKA have managed to wrestle back home ice advantage and now only need to win all games in Saint Petersburg. The first line of Vadim Shipachyov, Evgeny Dadonov and Nikita Gusev has been causing Dynamo an all manner of problems so far, and they have eleven points in the series already.

We ask all fans attending the arena today to arrive no later than 19.10! Every single supporter will become a part of the pre-match show, and everyone will have a special t-shirt laid out on their seat!

The SKA - Dynamo Moscow match will begin at 19.30 local time inside the Saint Petersburg Ice Palace. Life78, KHL TV HD and Match TV will broadcast the game live, and you can keep up to date with events by either following our online matchcentre or our official Twitter account.
