SKA - Barys

SKA - Barys - 4:3

24 November 2020

In Saint Petersburg, SKA had to work hard against a fired-up HC Barys side in the 2020/2021 KHL regular season, eventually emerging victorious by a score of 4:3.

Initially, our players took a two-goal lead in the first period as Ivan Morozov and Evgeny Ketov - shorthanded - hit the target, however Barys promptly hit back before the period was out as Viktor Svedberg and Jakob Lilja got the better of Alexander Samonov.

Kirill Marchenko reinstated SKA's advantage on the powerplay in the second stanza.

Nevertheless, Barys weren't willing to lie down, Linus Videll converted on a powerplay early in the third period to level the game. SKA, however, subsequently grabbed the winner as Vladimir Tkachyov registered a beauty when clean through.

SKA will now prepare to face Severstal on the road on Thursday. Puck drop is scheduled for 19:00 local time.
