HC Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg head coach Andrei Razin:

- I want to congratulate the guys with the win. We have beaten a very solid and good team. It's also nice that when losing in the third period, we came back and won on penalty shots.

- What happened to you in the second period after a great first frame?

- The opponents took their game up. They have a very strong squad and are a quality team. We had a very long bench, and in the second period we got lost a bit. We played better in the third.

- During the game, did you keep an eye on other results in the Eastern Conference?

- It was interesting to see how our opponents were playing. However, during the game I didn't look - only in the breaks did I see. We have made a huge step towards the playoffs, but we still have a further three games to go.

HC SKA head coach Sergei Zubov:

- I congratulate the opponents with their victory. It was a tense game until the end, and it's a shame that we couldn't take the extra point in the shootout. We had a lot of shots with half of them coming up close, but a lot of them were either blocked or flew off target. This is the main component which we must work over.

- This was Sergei Shirokov's first SKA match as a centre forward. Are you satisfied with his performance?

- He has already played down the middle. He had a solid performance.

- Is the main thing in this game the amount of missed goalscoring chances?

- I have already spoken about this. This component is letting us down.

- Was Joakim Lindstrom motivated for this game?

- Of course. He had a lot of energy, fought, crashed the net and had a good game.

- Did Ilya Ezhov do everything that he could in the penalty shootout?

- It's hard to answer this question, he conceded three out of three. He could have done more, but we took that decision to let him play.
