SKA - Avangard - 2:3 SO

In Saint Petersburg, SKA failed to keep the 2018/2019 KHL winning streak going, falling 2:3 at the hands of HC Avangard Omsk in a dramatic penalty shootout.

Despite dominating for long periods, our players failed to take advantage of their goalscoring opportunities, only scoring twice from 40 shots on target while allowing Avangard to take the match to penalties.
