HC SKA head coach Oleg Znarok:

- It was a hard game. The opposing team played well for the second match on the bounce, but we're happy that we won.

- What happened in the second period? Did Severstal improve, or did SKA relax?

- We conceded one goal, however we had a lot of chances ourselves too.

HC Severstal Cherepovets head coach Alexander Gulyavtsev:

- This was the second game in a row where we were good, however the points are not coming. We started poorly, took a penalty and a team like SKA won't let you off the hook. Nevertheless, the players kept trying hard. After the match, I thanked them for the performance. I thank the fans too, it's great playing in front of them. We'll prepare for the road trip.

- Are you missing that one player in the first line?

- Yes, there is a lot of misunderstanding. Vojtech Polak isn't a centre forward. However, the second line stepped up to the plate.
