HC SKA head coach Vyacheslav Bykov:

- I congratulate Salavat with the victory. Even though we scored in the third period, we didn't deserve anything. It was our worst game of the season, and we didn't have any emotions. Unfortunately this match has fallen into the failed category. Only Mikko Koskinen showed himself in a good light.

- Why didn't Andrey Kuteikin play?

- Unfortunately Andrey is injured. It's a shame, as we wanted him to play.

- Do you have special emotions being back in Ufa?

- I'm always happy to return here, I had a great time when I worked with Salavat. Sadly however, I have no such emotions after this game. We really did play poorly, while the hosts made it tough for us - even on the powerplay we couldn't get anything going.

- Are you satisfied with the physical state of the team after the All-Star Game?

- After playing so badly, I can't say that I am pleased with anyone.

- How would you rate your game on the powerplay? There were barely any shots on Salavat's net.

- The only good thing is that we didn't concede during that time.

- Thank you for the congratulations. We played in a disciplined manner for all three periods, and despite the opponents being strong, we performed as we planned. I think that we deserved the win.

- Can you be happy with the players' physical form after the All-Star Weekend in Sochi?

- We already had an agreement that Kirill Koltsov would arrive back in Ufa at five in the morning. It was a long flight, as he had to travel through Moscow. He didn't train before this match, but nevertheless he played well just like everyone else. The result is the main thing.

- Both teams were effective killing penalties.

- We are both good teams, which can play solidly on the penalty kill. Let's leave that topic on a positive note.

- Will Alexander Mereskin's goal give him confidence for the future?

- He will now have more positive emotions, and it was a big goal for the team today. Emotions have a big role to play, especially when they are positive ones. Our club really needs them now.
