Roman Rotenberg speaks after playing Avangard in Omsk

HC SKA head coach Roman Rotenberg:

- It's wonderful to play in Omsk at this new stadium, the atmosphere here is one of the best in the KHL! Both teams competed at a high tempo throughout the three periods. Avangard have a team with high-quality players, but we committed too many individual mistakes which must be cut out before the playoffs begin. Furthermore, we wasted plenty of ideal scoring opportunities when trying to equalise 6-on-4. For Avangard's goals, we lost concentration. In ice hockey, you need a killer's instinct, something which we were lacking today. Decisions concerning our line-up will be taken in accordance with what we saw on the ice. Moving forward, we have to play with maximum focus and avoid committing errors.
