Roman Rotenberg speaks after playing Severstal in Cherepovets

HC SKA head coach Roman Rotenberg:

- It was an interesting match. Severstal displayed interesting, modern ice hockey, they like to compete with the puck on their sticks. I think that all fans enjoy watching teams play like this. Our guys did a good job today, they followed the game plan. Thanks to the ice being of a high quality, both teams could display entertaining ice hockey while creating a lot of opportunities. Thank you to our travelling fans for the wonderful support! We will now prepare for our next match in Yaroslavl on Saturday.

- The two teams earned plenty of penalties. How satisfied are you with your side's discipline?

- The sides tried to go into challenges with their sticks. These penalties were taken because of technical errors, no other reason was to blame. We needed to skate harder and reach the puck with our sticks. We have no issues with these penalties.

- SKA have now won four on the bounce. Can we say that your players have returned to their level?

- We are paying a lot of attention to the details during our training process. One of them is our ruthlessness in front of goal, this is an aspect which has been a problem. Once we start capitalising on our scoring chances, we'll start winning matches by large scores.
