Roman Rotenberg speaks after playing Metallurg in Magnitogorsk

HC SKA head coach Roman Rotenberg:

- I would like to thank our players for competing with such character. Yes, we have things to work on, but I think that everyone enjoyed the match. Young guys such as Timur Kol and Ivan Demidov impressed, they are the players of the future. Even though it was such a tough game we could have won, we hit the post with a matter of seconds remaining on the clock. I would also like to thank Magnitogorsk for such a wonderful game of ice hockey. Moving forward, we have to take advantage of the scoring opportunities which come our way, we created enough chances and competed at a really high pace. Why did we swap our goaltender in the second period? We wanted the change to have a positive effect on the skaters.
