Roman Rotenberg speaks after playing Sochi away

HC SKA head coach Roman Rotenberg:

- I would like to point out the wonderful atmosphere inside the arena! Following our lengthy flights and Far Eastern trip, we found it tough going today. Recovery requires time. We were lacking the required freshness to take advantage of our scoring opportunities, but we also have to note the great performance of the Sochi goalkeeper. On the other hand, it was difficult for our goaltender today, because we only allowed Sochi to spend four times inside our. At the other end, we spent 13 minutes in their zone! We will now prepare for our next match. We did give some of our players a rest today after playing in the Far East, but we will make changes on Wednesday. Unfortunately, Stepan Falkovsky is injured, and the same can be said for Marat Khairullin. I would like to wish Sochi luck in their future games, both teams tried to play entertaining ice hockey today instead of sitting in defence. This is the ice hockey of the future.
