Roman Rotenberg speaks after beating Vityaz in Balashikha

HC SKA head coach Roman Rotenberg:

"Vityaz are a quick team, they compete with speed on the counter-attack. They're dangerous opponents, and they had lots of motivation against us. However, as I have previously stated, you can defeat motivated opponents by playing with discipline. I would like to thank our team for this performance, we had trained well and managed to produce the goods. Nevertheless, we have things which require improvement.

"We'll now prepare for Kunlun Red Star, who aren't any worse than Vityaz. Borna Rendulic hasn't played since 10 October? He's fine, we'll see him on the ice again soon. The score doesn't reflect the game itself? If you don't score, the opponents will. From our side, we saw a solid display of a high level. We know our potential, though, and this wasn't our best ice hockey.

"Will Tony DeAngelo be shown around Moscow during this away series? Ice hockey is our priority. I'm sure that in the future, Tony will have the opportunity to travel across our great country and see the sights. Tony is very interested in history and culture, he has a lot of respect for how we live and appreciates every day in Russia.
